“reddit says cancer risk, x says evolutionary superfood”
Reddit's bringing the receipts with doctors citing colorectal cancer studies and fiber deficiencies, while X is full of people claiming red meat cured their chronic conditions and made them superhuman. YouTube's got 80-year-olds swearing by carnivore diets and cardiologists blaming cooking methods instead of the meat itself. basically depends which corner of the internet you're reading, but Reddit's the only one showing their medical homework.

X · agrees
“Too much of meat particularly a red meat like beef is bad for health. Nobody can convince me it is good no matter what. Never eat meat daily atleast not for the tropical climate.”
what's working
- Red meat increases the risk of colorectal cancer according to health organizations
- Eating more beans and peas instead of red meat provides more fiber which helps prevent colon cancer
- Frequent red meat consumption (5-6 days a week) is unhealthy and incorporating more chicken and fish is a better dietary choice
what's not
- Humans have been eating significant quantities of animal meat for 2.5 million years as part of our evolutionary diet
- Red meat is a natural source of creatine, protein, iron, and zinc that support cognitive function, immunity, and bone health
