“works if you need sleep, does nothing if you don't”
YouTube is full of people saying they actually fell asleep, with one 55-year-old woman getting five straight hours during perimenopause. Reddit arrived with the reality check that the CBD doses are too low to do anything physiologically, calling it snake oil that supermarkets may as well sell next to chakra crystals. The people who swear by it seem to have actual sleep problems, while everyone else is basically drinking expensive flavoured water. You're either the target audience or you're not, there's no middle ground.

“Finished off my Oz trip with an evening Harbour ride and drinks at the Sydney Opera House. Not my usual destination but it was so wonderful exploring with my friend who's lived there for 15 years now!”
what's working
- The drinks are calming and make you feel relaxed
- The CBD variant has noticeable physiological effects
- They help with sleep, allowing some users to sleep for extended periods
what's not
- They can cause frequent bathroom trips and disrupt sleep quality for some users
- The CBD content is not strong enough to produce meaningful physiological effects
- Consuming them consecutively for extended periods may cause liver damage due to ashwaganda content
